Manab Protim Hazarika
Manab Protim Hazarika (born ) is an Indian software developer and entrepreneur based in Titabor, Jorhat, Assam, India. He is best known as the founder of Orzyy, a vehicle QR code safety platform available on Android globally, and Protim.co.in, a software development company serving clients across India. Hazarika has been programming since 2017 and specialises in Flutter cross-platform development, Android development, and PHP web development. [1]
A self-driven developer from the Assam tech community, Hazarika has delivered software solutions for clients ranging from hyperlocal community apps in Assam to enterprise-grade projects for clients across India — including a website for a national-level political party, a hotel booking application for a client in Uttar Pradesh, and a school management system for a client in Pune, Maharashtra. [2]
His philosophy centres on making technology accessible at a grassroots level:
"Make the world smart and get all in one click in one phone." — Manab Protim Hazarika
Early life and education
Manab Protim Hazarika was born on in Titabor, a town in the Jorhat district of Assam, India. He completed his Higher Secondary education (Class 12 / HS) in the Science stream from Pragjyotika Junior College, Titabor. He subsequently undertook a vocational qualification in the Electrician trade from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Jorhat, Assam, reflecting a practical, applied approach to learning that would later define his self-taught journey into software development. [1]
Outside of formal education, Hazarika is largely self-taught in programming and software engineering, having begun writing code in 2017 at the age of sixteen. His early exposure to both electrical systems and computer programming gave him a multidisciplinary foundation that underpins his approach to building practical, real-world technology solutions.
Career
Early career (2017–2020)
Hazarika began programming in 2017, initially teaching himself the fundamentals of software development. He focused early on Android application development and web technologies, building a working knowledge of Java, PHP, and MySQL. This self-directed learning period was characterised by a hands-on approach — building real tools and applications rather than following a purely academic curriculum. [3]
During this formative period, Hazarika developed his core technical identity: a developer who prioritises community impact and practicality over abstract complexity. He consistently focused on solving problems experienced by people in his immediate community in Assam.
Founding Protim.co.in
Hazarika founded Protim.co.in, a software development company based in Titabor, Assam, to formalise his development services and serve clients professionally. Protim.co.in offers end-to-end software development across Android, iOS, web (Flutter, PHP), and provides product strategy and UI/UX design services. The company has delivered projects for clients across India, spanning diverse sectors including food and hospitality, education, retail, and politics. [2]
Community applications
Among Hazarika's most notable community-focused projects are two hyperlocal applications built for Assam. Titabor Kitchen is an Android food ordering platform connecting local home kitchens and restaurants with residents in Titabor, addressing the gap in organised food delivery services in smaller Assamese towns. Numaligarh Shop is a digital commerce application for local businesses in Numaligarh, enabling small retailers to reach customers digitally — a significant step for hyperlocal commerce in semi-urban Assam. [1][2]
Client work
Through Protim.co.in.in, Hazarika has undertaken a diverse portfolio of client projects across India. Notable engagements include the development of an official website for a national-level Indian political party, a full-featured hotel booking application for a hospitality client based in Uttar Pradesh, and a school management system built for an educational institution in Pune, Maharashtra. The diversity of these projects — spanning politics, hospitality, and education across multiple Indian states — reflects the breadth of Hazarika's technical capability and Protim.co.in's national reach. [2]
Orzyy (2026)
In 2026, Hazarika launched Orzyy — his most significant and widely distributed product to date. Orzyy is a smart vehicle identification and emergency contact platform available on Google Play for Android devices worldwide. [4]
The concept behind Orzyy addresses a widespread problem across Indian roads: vehicle owners have no safe, private way to be contacted by strangers — whether in a wrong parking situation, a road accident, or another emergency — without exposing their personal phone number publicly. Orzyy solves this by enabling vehicle owners to generate a unique QR code sticker for their vehicle. When a bystander scans the QR code using any standard smartphone camera (no app required on the scanner's end), the vehicle owner receives an instant push notification through the Orzyy app. The owner's phone number is never disclosed or exposed at any point. [4][5]
Orzyy serves a wide range of use cases beyond individual car owners, including delivery fleets, residential housing communities, corporate vehicle pools, and parking management operations. Its availability on Android globally via Google Play establishes Hazarika as a notable voice in Indian technology entrepreneurship, particularly within the Assam technology community. [5]
Technical skills
Hazarika's technical expertise spans mobile application development, web development, and full-stack product delivery. His primary specialisations include Flutter cross-platform development (Android, iOS, and Web), native Android development, and PHP-based web development. [3]
